Striving to preserve botanicals in a state of decay, Emilie has delved into a new technique of electroplating. Each specimen is dried, sealed, and then coated in a conductive paint, before being immersed in a electroplating bath. The botanicals are then treated in various ways to create different patinas on the copper.
